Letter from Fr Roland
Dear Parishioners,
Welcome to the 2011 edition of the Blessed Trinity Parish Directory. The book offers a snapshot of some of the people and activities of our parish as well as an updated listing of our parish membership.
With the beginning of this year, 2011, the Welcome Center & Parish Offices identity replaced that of the “old church” on our campus. For five years the old church building stood idle and served as a large storehouse for items necessary and for things not so necessary to our parish life. We have recycled a sturdy structure into a beautiful and practical space for daily Mass, Prayer Chapel, Music Room, classrooms and new Parish Offices.
I also salute the recycling dimension of the “old-made-new” Trinity Cross that now adorns the front of the church. This cross has observed and blessed parish life from its perch on the back of the old church for several decades. It now welcomes and blesses with its golden beauty all those entering the church for prayer and worship.
May this Directory serve to strengthen the bonds of friendship that knit us together as Christian Community of Blessed Trinity Parish.
